This project culminated
with a 5 day exhibition during the 2004 Next Wave Festival.
The installation was formed by mechanical contraptions that scanned
through holograms creating animated projections of a dragonfly creature.
Inside the workshop style exhibition clicked and whirled while on the
roof a large laser projection graced the Melbourne skyline.
This project was accompanied by an Applied Physics thesis on holographic
projection (looking particularly at methods of magnifying projections,
flexible geometry and visual rhythms) as well as a catalogue of poetic
physics.
